All the narrow gauge (762 මිමී (2 අඩි 6 අඟ))^[1] lines were closed now. Maradana to Avissawella section in Kelani Valley line has been converted into Broad gauge (1,676 මිමී (5 අඩි 6 අඟ)). All stations served narrow gauge tracks are closed except Maradana to Avissawella since it was converted into broad gauge and still using.
