සොලමන් දුපත් පැපෝවා නිව්ගිනියා බටහිර, මෙලිනීසියාවහි පිහිටි රටකි. එහි දුපත් 1000 ක් තිබේ. එහි වර්ග ප්‍රමාණය වර්ග කි. මී. 28 400 (වර්ග සැතපුම් 10 965 ) කි. අගනුවර වන්නේ හොනෙයිරා අතර එය ගොඩ්ැල්නැනෑල් දුපතේහි පිහිටා ඇත. සොලමන් දුපත් මෙලනීසියානුවන් විසින් අවුරැදු දහස් ගණනකට පෙර ජනාවාස නොගෙන සිටි බැව් විශ්වාස කෙරේ. 1893 බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රාජධානිය සොලමන් දුපත් තම රැකවරණය යටතේ තබා ගත්හ. 2 වන ලෝක යුද්ධ මසමයේ ඇමරිකානුවන් හා ජපන් ජාතිකයන් අතර දරැණු සටන් ඇති වු අතර සොලමන් දුපත් ව්‍යාපාරය 1942 – 1945 සහ ගාඩ්ඩැල්තැනෑල් සටන ද විය. 1976 ස්ව රාජ්‍ය හිමි වු අතර නිදහස අවුරැදු 2 කට පසුව හිමි විය. සොලමන් දුපත් ව්‍යවස්ථාදායක රාජාන්ත්‍රයක් වන අතර එය සොලමන් දුපත් රැජින සමග වේ. වර්තමානයේ 11 එලිසබෙත් රැජින එහි පාලකයාය. 1998 පටන් ජනවාර්ගික ගැටුම් රාජ්‍ය අපචාරය අපරාධ ස්ථාවරත්වයට හා සමාජයට හානි කර ඇත. 2003 වර්ෂයේ ජුනි මාසයේ ඔස්ට්‍රේලියානු අන්තර්ජාතික හමුදාවක් වන ප්‍ර‍ාදේශීය සහභාගික පදනම සොලමන් දුපත් එහි පැමිණි සාමය, නිරායුධ කිරිම් හා සිවිල් පාලනය ගොඩ නගන ලදි.
