Well, that's easy we don't have many people around here these days and the community we have do not have enough time to do complete translations on articles. This is where you can join in. ;-)
The first page is the same page since I first saw the Sinhala wikipedia,why not updated? සංස්කරණය
I copied the main page skeleton from the English wikipedia and we all agreed on it. At least nobody objected to it. So it's a good idea to keep the basic structure as it is. But when it comes to the content, you are right. it needs updating. However keep in mind this is not just any other page. It is the main page. So have a good care in editing it.
I cannot tipe sinhala in the search tab,I mean I do not know how to ? සංස්කරණය

- Yes, I'm very interested about the Sinhala Wikipedia.I know how hard it is to search information in Sinhala language for the projects I did for school, in my children's news paper collection. And how hard it is to translate heaps of articles downloaded from the internet.
- Just think, when we need some information on a topic what we do is open the internet browser and google it. The top articles in the list is almost all the time from wikipedia. Typing in Sinhala is now quite popular with social networks such as FaceBook and the time when people will google for information with sinhala letters on the net is not far away.

Hi Shane44, I don't really understand your question. May be you are referring to the comments I used when creating templates. I called them importing because I just copied the entire content from the English wiki. (Yes there is some heavy import thing in wiki, but we never use it here). When translating you really don't have to copy anything to this wiki, other than the basic formatting; isn't it? Regarding the formatting, it's perfectly OK to copy and paste it from English wiki. - Portals are not treated as articles. They are special just like Templates. Basically we should be working with articles that are not in any special name spaces. But Portals and Templates are also things that should be developed and included in a wiki. Hope that's enough introduction. - Shane44, I think we have to merge those kind of articles(like you have already done) & delete the incorrect ones. Again we will have same issue related the History merge. It is nice if you can add {{mergewith|ඩිජිටල්_ඡායාරූපකරණය}} first. Then move the Content. Then {{delete}} wrong article. සැකිල්ල ගෙන ආවා. කිසියම් පරිශීලකයෙක් විසින් එසේ ගෙන ඒමේදී අත් වැරදීමක් සිදු වෙලා තිබුණා. ගෙඩක් වෙලා ගියා ඒක හොයා ගන්න. මම හිතන්නේ ඒක වෙලා තියෙන්නේසැකිල්ලේ අන්තර්ගයත සිංහලට හරවන්න ගිහින්. ප්‍රතිවර්ත්‍ය ලකුණ ඇති සැකිල්ල නම් පහසුවෙන් ගෙනෙන්නට හැකි උනා.
