Sinhala Word for Portal සංස්කරණය
"පෝටල්" යන්න සඳහා ගැලපෙන සිංහල වචනය ලෙසට "කවුළුව" යන වචනය පාවිච්චි කිරීම ගැන ඔබලාගේ අදහස කුමක්ද?
http://www.gov.lk/ වෙබ් අඩවියට අනුව නම් එය බිහිදොර විය යුතුයි.

බිහිදොර (portal) සහ බිහිදොරටු (portals) වඩා සුදූ සු බව මාගේ අදහසයි. It's less ambiguous than the other candidates. I think it's time we translated the navigation bar. JustMal 22:00, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Permanent Adminship සංස්කරණය

- Actually the only permanent administrator of Sinhala wiki, Chin, made no edits since last October. If nobody of the current active users of this wiki has objections, I'd change Lee's adminship from temporary to permanent. Does anyone support or object this choice? Thank you for your attention. සිංහල විකිය සඳහා විකිපීඩියා තැපැල් ලැයිස්තුවක් ඇති කරමු ද? මේ වන විට අදට si.wikipedia.orgහි ලියාපදිංචි භාවිත කරන්නන් සංඛ්‍යාව 180කි. http://mail.wikipedia.org/ මත WikiSI-l විකිපීඩියා තැපැල් ලැයිස්තු වක් පවත්වාගෙන යාම,සිංහල විකිපීඩියාවට (si.wikipedia.org) සම්බන්ද මාතෘකා සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට හා ගැටලු විසඳාගැනීමට අප සියලුදෙනට උපකාරිවේ.
How about having a local Wikipedia email list for Sinhala Wiki? Right now there are 180 users on si.wikipedia.org. Having an email list called WikiSI-l on http://mail.wikipedia.org/ should be helpful for all of us to discuss topics and resolve problems related to Sinhala Wikpedia (si.wikipedia.org)

It seems like we need some help from a sysop user of si.wikipedia.org to create a Wiki mailing list for Sinhala Wiki using http://mail.wikipedia.org/mailman/create Hope that a Sysop user could help us out with this task.

The Wikipedia:තැපැල් ලැයිස්තු page, has been created similar to the en:Wikipedia:Mailing lists page. We can use the Wikipedia talk:තැපැල් ලැයිස්තු page to discuss further regarding the mailing lists for Sinhala Wikipedia. Translating the title of “main page” (මුල් පිටුව) සංස්කරණය

- "main page" යන පිටුව "මුල් පිටුව" ලෙස නම් කිරීම හොඳ අදහසකි. "මුල් පිටුව"ට #REDIRECT පිටුවක් ලෙස "main page" තබාගැනීම හොඳය. එයට හේතුව වන්නේ වෙනත් භාෂා විකි අඩවි තුල මෙම පිටුවට පුරුක් වලින් දැනටම සම්බන්ධ කර ඇති හෙයිනි. "main page" පිටුවට දැනටමත් සම්බන්ධ මෙම පුරුක් සියල්ලම වෙනස් කරන තුර "main page" ලෙස #REDIRECT පිටුවක් තබා ගැනීම හොඳ යැයි මම සිතමි. තවද සිංහල විකියෙහි "මුල් පිටුව" ලෙස දැනටමත් පිටුවක් ඇති බැව් අපට අමතක කල නොහැක.
