1707 මැයි 1 වන දින එංගලන්ත රාජධානිය සහ ස්කොට්ලන්ත රාජධානිය ඒකාබද්ධ කිරීමෙන් පසු මහා බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රාජධානියේ සහ [[එක්සත් රාජධානිය|එක්සත් රාජධානියේ]] 12 දෙනෙකු රජකම් කර ඇත. ඊට පෙර 1603 එංගලන්තයේ පළමු වැනි එලිසබෙත් රැජිණගේ අභාවය තෙක් එංගලන්තය සහ ස්කොට්ලන්තයට වෙන් වෙන් රජවරුන් විටි අතර 1603 මාර්තු 24 දින ස්කොට්ලන්තයේ හයවැනි ජේම්ස් රජු එංගලන්තයේ පළමු වැනි ජේම්ස් ලෙස රජ වීමේ සිට 1707 දක්වා රාජධානි දෙකම තනි රජ කෙනෙකු විසින් එකිනෙකින් ස්වාධීන රටවල් ලෙස පාලනය කර ඇත.
1801 ජනවාරි 1 වන දින මහා බ්‍රිතාන්‍යය අයර්ලන්ත රාජධානිය සමඟ ඒකාබද්ධ වී මහා බ්‍රිතාන්‍යය සහ අයර්ලන්ත එක්සත් රාජධානිය පිහිටුවීය. 1922 දෙසැම්බර් 6 වන දින අයර්ලන්තයේ දකුණු පෙදෙස නිදහස ලැබීමෙන් පසු, එහි නම 1927 අප්‍රියෙල් 12 වන දින මහා බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයේ සහ උතුරු අයර්ලන්තයේ එක්සත් රාජධානිය ලෙස සංශෝධනය කරන ලදී.
මෙම ලැයිස්තුවේ අඩංගු වන්නේ 1707 ඒකාබද්ධ වීමේ පණත් වලින් එංගලන්ත සහ ස්කොට්ලන්ත රාජධානි ඒකාබද්ධ කර මහා බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රාජධානිය පිහිටවූදා සිට රජකම් කල රජුන්/රැජිණියන් පමණි.
