නුතන අවදියේදී තෝර්, ජර්මානු ආගම තුල ජනප්‍රවාදයක් ලෙස පවතී.ඔවුන්ගේ විෂව්වස වලට අනුව අගහරුවාදා තෝර් ගේ දිනය ලෙස හදුන්වයි("Thor's day" පුරාන ඉංග්‍රීසි වචනයක් වන Þūnresdæg- "Thunor's day").මෙම දිනය තෝර් වෙනුවෙන් පුද පූජා පැවැත්වූ දිනයයි. අද දිනය වන විටද මෙම පුද පූජා අගහරුවාදා දිනයේ පවත්වයි.
