ලින් ද සිල්වා
ලින් ඇල්ටන් ද සිල්වා (1919 ජූනි 16 - 1982 මැයි 22) ශ්‍රී ලාංකික දේවධර්මාචාර්යවරයෙකු සහ මෙතෝදිස්ත අමාත්‍යවරයෙකි . ඔහු Dialogue (1961-1981) නමින් හැඳින්වෙන බෞද්ධ-ක්‍රිස්තියානි හමුවීම පිළිබඳ පළමු දේවධර්ම සඟරාවේ නිර්මාතෘ සහ සංස්කාරක විය.[1][2] නව සිංහල බයිබලය ලෙස ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරන ලද සිංහල බයිබලයේ පැරණි ගිවිසුම සංශෝධනය කිරීමේ ප්‍රධාන පරිවර්තකයා විය. (1973-1982), සහ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අධ්‍යයනය සහ සංවාදය සඳහා වූ Ecumenical Institute (EISD)[3] හි අධ්‍යක්ෂ (1962-1982). ලින් ද සිල්වා ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ බෞද්ධ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංවාදයේ ප්‍රමුඛතම ක්‍රිස්තියානි වෘත්තිකයෙකු ලෙස පුළුල් ලෙස සලකනු ලබන අතර, මෙම සංවාදයේ පුරෝගාමියෙකු ලෙසද සැලකේ.[4]

අධ්‍යාපනය සංස්කරණය
ද සිල්වා 1938 සිට 1942 දක්වා[5] ඔහු බැංගලෝරයේ එක්සත් දේවධර්ම විද්‍යාලයේ අමාත්‍යාංශය සඳහා පුහුණු වූ අතර [5] ඔහු කොල්ලුපිටිය, වැල්ලවත්ත, මහනුවර, බදුල්ල, ගාල්ල, කලහේ, මුට්වාල් සහ සීදූව ඇතුළු ස්ථානවල මෙතෝදිස්ත දේව සේවකයකු ලෙස කටයුතු කළේය. ඔහු පළමු ස්ථාන දෙකෙහි වසර දෙකක්ද, මහනුවරදී වසර භාගයක්ද, කලහේ වසර දෙකක්ද, මුතුවල්හි වසර තුනක්ද, සීදූවෙහි වසර තුනහමාරක්ද සේවය කළේය. [6] 1950 සැප්තැම්බර් මාසයේදී ද සිල්වා මෙතෝදිස්ත දේව සේවකයකු ලෙස පැවිදි විය. [7]
