The Scouts & Girl Guides of Sri Lanka is one of the largest and most prominent values-based youth development organization. The SLSA & SlGGA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. For over a century, the SLSA & SlGGA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Scouts & Girl Guides of Sri Lanka believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
To contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and law, to help build a better world where people are self–fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

සංස්කරණයScouting Magazine Sri Lanka [1] (සිංහල: බාලදක්ෂ ශ්රී ලංකා, දෙමළ: சாரணர்க் இலங்கை), is a publication of the Scouts Media Network of Sri Lanka. The target audience is Cub Scouts, Girls in Scouts, Junior & Senior Scouts, Rover Scouts, Sea Scouts, Air Scouts, Equestrian Scouts, Little Friends, Guides, Senior Girl Guides, Akelas and Adult leaders. It carries news on Scouting Events, articles on aspects of Scouting such as service, outdoor skills and activities, and features about Scouting activities. It has been in publication since 22nd February 2012.
Vision
සංස්කරණයAs Scouting enters Its second century, It sees itself as a credible, value – based, educational movement dynamic and innovative involving more and more young people, girls and boys, from broader segments of society attractive to adults, women and men, in all cultures making a real contribution to creating a better world.
