ඉතිහාසය
සංස්කරණය1967 දී ෆ්‍රෙඩ් කිල්ගෝර් ගේ නායකත්වය යටතේ OCLC ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.[5] එම වසරේ දී OCLC විසින් union catalog technology ආරම්භ කළ අතර එය පසුව WorldCat බවට පරිණාමය වීම සිදුවිය. ප්‍රථම catalog records 1971 දී එක් කරන ලදී.[5][6]
