This category should be used for people who are notable only or primarily for their work as a television actor. If an actor is notable for more than just television acting, then a stub article about them should instead use {{screen-actor-stub}}, or also {{stage-actor-stub}}, or relevant subcategories.

The perfect article about an actor gives both a (possibly short) biography and a list of performances. Also, appropriate categories should be added, especially those listed in Category:Actors by medium and Category:Actors by nationality.
