English: On June 5-6 2012, SDO is collecting images of one of the rarest predictable solar events: the transit of Venus across the face of the sun. This event happens in pairs eight years apart that are separated from each other by 105 or 121 years. The last transit was in 2004 and the next will not happen until 2117.
Esperanto: Je 2012-06-05/6 Venuso trairis antaŭ la sundisko. La foton faris la ter-satelito SDO (sun-dinamikaĵa observejo). La evento estas unu el la plej maloftaj antaŭdireblaj sunaj okazaĵoj; ĝi okazas en paroj apartigitaj per ok jaroj, ripetiĝantaj 105 aŭ 121 jarojn post la dua trairo. La lasta trairo antaŭ 2012 estis en 2004; la sekva okazos en 2117.
Deutsch: Durchgang der Venus vor der Sonnenscheibe am 5./6. Juni 2012. Das Bild wurde vom Sonnenbeobachtungs-Satelliten SDO aufgenommen und stellt eines der seltensten vorhersagbaren Ereignisse der Sonnendynamik dar. Venusdurchgänge ereignen sich paarweise im Abstand von acht Jahren; bis zum nächsten Durchgang vergehen dann 105 oder 121 Jahre. Der letzte Durchgang erfolgte 2004, der nächste wird im Jahr 2117 folgen.
