When එක්සත් ජනපද word is used it implies that what is referred is United States of America. It is not necesary to say in Sinhala as අමෙරිකා‍වේ එක්සත් රාජ්‍යයන් or අමෙරිකා එක්සත් ජනපද or අ'මෙරිකා‍වේ එක්සත් රාජ්‍යයන් or ඇමරිකාව or ඇමරිකා එක්සත් ජනපදය or ඇමෙරිකා එක්සත් ජනපදය or any other.එක්සත් ජනපද ජනාධිපති ලැයිස්තුව is most close to Enlish topic en:List of Presidents of the United States. Hence, this should be the Main topic. Do not move this to any other topic. On the contrary, if you feel important you may redirect from any other topic to this topic. Dear ශ්වෙත,

1. I cant understand why you need to keep an implied term rather than the correct term.
2. Term US is the commonly used word (though not the correct term) used in English. But not so in Sinhala. US$ is used as ඇමරිකානු ඩොලර් in Sinhala.
3. Not even the term United States but even just the word States might me used in English as Americans dominate in en wikipedia & they wants to show that their country is default.
4. You have no write to say that this should be the Main topic as Wikipedia is a common effort. You can request Do not move this to any other topic but others are free to accept it or not.
5. If you need to make what you feel is correct as a norm / default, best way is to go for a vote.

Since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, it should help people to extract knowledge. Our duty is not to teach them "correct terms", our duty is to use "terms they use" and develop articles. Then they will access those articles and extract knowledge. A main topic is a main topic. One of the tpopics should be a main topic. Then, I have a "right" to tell it. Dear ශ්වෙත,

එක්සත් ජනපද ජනාධිපති is not the correct term (correct term is අමෙරිකා එක්සත් ජනපද ජනාධිපති) nor the "terms they use" in Sinhala (Sinhala people use the word ඇමෙරිකා ජනාධිපති). There is no rationale to use the term you have used.

There is no need to discuss before doing each & every edit. Discussion is needed only if there is a problem. I have corrected an article as the way I think is correct. Now it has a become a problem so I am discussing.
