Hi Chin,
You are incorrect in saying that many other Wikipedias use a native greeting as the name for the main page. German Wikipedia uses "hauptseite", which means "head site", Haitian Wikipedia uses "paj prensipal", which means "main page", Italian Wikipedia uses "pagina principale" which means "main page", Spanish Wikipedia uses "pagina principal", which means "main page", Chinese Wikipedia uses a word meaning "main page", Japanese uses the English words.
While it's OK to use a Sinhala translation, it's not OK to use such a word, especially since it includes a special character (exclamation mark). You should use a translation which means "main page" or "homepage".

Stray articles සංස්කරණය
Chin,
There are so may articles with just titles. Apparently somebody took si as his/her language and kept adding pages. Any idea what to do with them? They will never be expanded because their titles are not sinhala - Greenleaf 05:36, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
Well, the best would be simply to translate these into Sinhalese and then move them to the correct Sinhalese title. Unfortunately I am not a Sinhalese speaker so this must be done by natives. If English texts help to get people to take the initiative, that's not a bad idea. But on the long run all articles on si WP should be in Sinhalese of course. --Proof 18:06, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Actually I'm contributing from University computer lab. To both tamil and english wiki pages I can see font but not to Sinhala wikipedia. I can't install font manually bcos it has been blocked by the administrator of the network(I mean in campus). Is there any other way to see the sinhala text????
