Translation from the original German caption

• This stele, whose original base is located in the Cairo Museum, was originally set up within the Temple of Khnum in Elephantine.
• Below the winged sun disk, the pharaoh is shown together with the gods. In the linked scene Amenhotep II is about to be presented to the ram-headed god Khnum, and behind the pharaoh is the goddess Satis. On the right side of the pharaoh is the goddess Anukis who is led to the god Amun, who has a high crest of feathers on his head.
• The inscriptions below begin with a throne-date from the reign of Amenhotep II: "In the third year in the third month of the harvest season, on the 14th day" then follows the title and deeds of the pharaoh. It records his deeds, including a successful campaign against Syria, and dedicated war booty and prisoners to the Temple of Khnum in Elephantine where he then set up this stele.
