This template generates a link into the Online Catalog of Sigma-Aldrich.

Usage

or replace CATALOG if the catalog is not aldrich:

If the CATALOG parameter is needed, it can be found via its CASnumber. Change the "searchtype" on online catalogus to CASnumber and paste the correct CASnumber at "terms". If found, the catalog is presented inside parenthesis ().

Parameters

• The first parameter is needed when the catalog is not aldrich, such as sigma, fluka, etc.
• id: the number (might also contain letters) by which the compound is known under the catalog.
• name: the name used in the catalog.
• accessdate: this is important when values are taken from the reference, as changes by Sigma will not automatically end up in Wikipedia.
